The animation was done using a combination of Unity, Cinema 4D, and Adobe After Effects, and helped to tell the story of this new tech in a visually arresting Point Cloud style, debuting at Facebook's annual conference, F8.

    GOOGLE CARREFOUR THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF DATA When Google approached us to make a film showcasing their work with French retailer Carrefour, we could only say, “Oui!” (Because our French is very limited.) This project was special, not only because of the great story it told, but because it marked our early-pandemic transition to working from home. iMacs were lugged. Hard drives were stacked. Giant anamorphic 4K video files were flying everywhere. Ah, magnifique!

    ANCESTRY HAND-IN-HAND IF THESE HANDS COULD TALK Ancestry.com came to Bonfire Labs for help with a Labor Day promotion. Bonfire jumped aboard to direct and produce a conceptual spot that captures the feel of the 1890s and features jobs our ancestors held during that era. To keep the feeling authentic, we cast professional bakers, builders, teachers, and farriers. Our client liked our labor of love so much, they added a Times Square media buy to their schedule.
