What is Cloud Computing? CLIENT: Salesforce.com AGENCY: Bonfire Salesforce.com came to Bonfire with the task of explaining their platform in a fun easy to comprehend animated film. Working closely with Salesforce.com's product manager, Bonfire helped refine the script, created storyboards and styleframes, then proceeded to produce the four minute animation in conjunction with Phoenix Editorial.
On the Road CLIENT: Bank of America Agency: Organic Bank of America's "Morris on Campus" microsite has been a huge success thanks to the innovative interactive work created by interactive agency Organic. For the latest installment's motion intensive aspects, Organic turned to Bonfire. Working closely with it's sister company Phoenix Editorial, The Bonfire team created a small graphics package, including show intros, bumpers and transitions, along with a green-screen site opener. http://promotions.bankofamerica.com/mbc
Living Climate Change CLIENT: Ideo Agency: Bonfire lDEO came to Bonfire with the challenge of creating a compelling launch film for their Living Climate Change initiative. Working closely with IDEO's creative team, Bonfire knocked out the two minute film in a mind-boggling nine days, mixing live-action footage, rotoscoping, hand drawn illustrations, and 3D animation.

True Blood TV Spot CLIENT: HBO Home Video Agency: Venables Bell & Partners To launch the first season of True Blood on DVD and BluRay, HBO turned to their agency Venables Bell & Partners to craft a two spot campaign for broadcast and theatrical release. Each spot concludes with an end-tag reminiscent of the show's opening title sequence. Bonfire designed the end-tags on a Mac, printed them to laser paper, and then used an vintage optical transfer machine to print them to a Polaroid. The Polaroid was soaked in hot water to release the emulsion, which was then shot with a digital SLR as it was blown with an air gun.
CS4 Launch Stinger CLIENT: Adobe Systems AGENCY: Bonfire  After a successful partnership launching CS3, Adobe turned to Bonfire again to produce the launch film for CS4. Adobe teamed Bonfire up with Barcelona design firm Vasava and Portland-based designer Nando Costa to collaborate on the final piece. Working with Vasava's flash-based web design and Costa's illustrated animation, Bonfire dissected their work while adding additional design elements to bring the three visions to life in a cohesive manner.
CS3 Launch Stinger CLIENT: Adobe Systems AGENCY: Bonfire Creative Suite 3 was Adobe's largest software release in the company's history due to the accumulation of tools from the Macromedia acquisition. Adobe turned to Bonfire to craft the stinger for their launch event in New York.
Silverlight Launch Stinger CLIENT: Microsoft AGENCY: Bonfire Microsoft came to Bonfire with a technical brief about a new product: Silverlight. It was seen by Microsoft as the future of application development in the world of cloud computing and web2.0. The result was a live-action and CG production conceptualized and produced by Bonfire that played at the launch, along with other venues including NAB and the Microsoft home page.
CES Signage CLIENT: SanDisk AGENCY: Venables Bell & Partners After winning the Sandisk Sansa account, agency Venables Bell & Partners turned to Bonfire to help knock out their first assignment, digital signage for the SanDisk CES exhibit. Bonfire created a unique mix of black and white typography and 3D rendered line-art to produce the final ninety-second piece.
Expression 3 Logo Animation CLIENT: Microsoft AGENCY: Bonfire After a successful partnership launching the first two versions of Silverlight, Microsoft turned to Bonfire again to create branding animations for Silverlight's development toolset, Expression 3.
Flash Platform Stinger CLIENT: ADOBE SYSTEMS AGENCY: Bonfire Adobe came to Bonfire with the task of producing an animation to represent the Flash platform. Bonfire created a "solar system" of particles to represent the platform, with the final piece playing at trade shows and on Adobe.com.
Times Square LED CLIENT: Barclays AGENCY: Venables Bell & Partners Venables Bell & Partners approached Bonfire to help rebrand the Lehman Brothers building after the acquisition by Barclays. The large-scale project was designed to run on a city-wide block of of LEDs wrapping around the sides and front of the building in Times Square. Bonfire has since changed the design seasonally.
Fantasy Football CLIENT: CBS AGENCY: Bonfire CBS Interactive turned to Bonfire to conceptualize and produce a TV spot for fantasy football. The result is a typography driven spot utilizing the iconic lettering found on a football field.
Lobby Signage CLIENT: Charles Schwab AGENCY: Bonfire Charles Schwab's new corporate headquarters in San Francisco needed something more than traditional print signage, so they came to Bonfire to create a looping animation to play in the lobby. Bonfire utilized particle systems emitting Schwab's iconic thought bubbles as a holding device for the photographic and video content.
Eagle Eye Viral ARG CLIENT: Dreamworks AGENCY: 4th Wall Studios Interactive agency Fourth Wall Studios enlisted Bonfire for the video aspects of a viral ARG for the feature film "Eagle Eye". Utilizing Fourth Wall's proprietary telephony technology, Bonfire helped with the visual effects supervision of a live-action shoot, along with creating interactive video loop points controlled by voice recognition, surveillance footage effects, and visual effects for the car crash. http://www.eagleeyefreefall.com/
For the third major release in a row, Adobe turned to Bonfire to craft the CS5 launch stinger. Adobe provided Bonfire with four still illustrations and one motion piece created by an array of international designers. Bonfire was tasked with the challenge of unifying these five disparate pieces into a unified seamless animation.

Kings Viral ARG CLIENT: NBC AGENCY: 4th Wall Studios Interactive agency Fourth Wall Studios partnered with Bonfire to create the video content for the NBC TV show "Kings". The viral ARG site included Fourth Wall's telephony technology to control frames of live action footage. Adobe came to Bonfire with a project to create the digital signage for their Photoshop product line which played at the Photokina expo in Germany. Adobe provided a large selection of still photography, which Bonfire brought to life through camera  mapping and tight editorial provided by sister company Phoenix Editorial.
