Bonfire Grows with Key Staff Additions

San Francisco, CA - Bonfire, the motion design and integrated media company, and sister facility of Bay Area mainstay Phoenix Editorial, announced it has grown its team. Associate Creative Director Barry Munsterteiger, Producer/Technical Advisor Kenji Hayashi, and Associate Art Director Adam Oestergaard have been recruited to handle Bonfire's growing volume of design work.

Bonfire is starting the new year with a number of high profile design assignments. The company has also seen an increase in clients coming to Bonfire to help solve their design challenges - whether it's creating futuristic product UI design, immersive digital entertainment experiences, or creative content for the big screen.

Bonfire and Phoenix Editorial Create Short
Film for IDEO's Living Climate Change Initiative

San Francisco, CA - Sister companies Bonfire and Phoenix Editorial announced that they have collaborated with global innovation and design firm IDEO on the welcome video for the Living Climate Change website, an initiative developed by IDEO.

In the short, directed by IDEO design director and associate partner Roshi Givechi, company CEO Tim Brown asks what role design can play in the challenges we face with climate change.

IDEO found it attractive to have the combined resources of Bonfire and Phoenix Editorial, where conceptualization, live-action production, visual effects, animation, editorial, finishing and sound design could be completed all under one roof.

‘On the Road’ with Bank of America

San Francisco, CA - Sister companies Bonfire and Phoenix Editorial announced that they have collaborated with digital agency Organic on a promotional webisodic series called “On the Road.” The show streams from a Bank of America microsite that provides financial education for high school and college-aged individuals. Bonfire designed and executed the stop-motion show open under the creative direction of Matt Silverman, while Phoenix’s Robbie Proctor and Jim Farber edited seven episodes of the show, which was directed by Aero Films’ Jason Farrand and shot using three RED One cameras.
